Should my dog eat salmon?
Salmon is an exceptionally high-quality source of protein, which is why it is considered for their beloved canines by many owners! A few more things to think about are: flavorful, omega 3 fatty acid, brain booster, low mercury fish, high in vitamins & minerals, and amino acids.

Salmon can reduce inflammation and joint stiffness. But developing puppies can also eat this fish for brain health; just what a puppy needs early on! Give your dog small amounts of salmon weekly. It’ll keep them healthy. You’ll probably see a shinier coat.
How much omega-3 fish oil is safe for dogs?
The recommended dose of fish oil is 75-100 mg/ kg total EPA/DHA. CARE typically recommends about 100 mg/kg. Your dog’s maximum daily dose is 310 (kg)¾. Please note that there is an upper limit on how much Omega 3 is good.
Salmon oil is better than fish oil due to its level of omega-3 fatty acid absorption and better DHA to EPA ratio. One tablespoon of salmon oil contains 4.6 g of omega-3, more than cod liver, sardine, herring and menhaden oils.
