Streetbeefs (or Street. Beefs or Street Beefs) is a backyard fighting club and You. Tube channel founded in 2008 that hosts fighting such as boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts. Chris “Scarface” Wilmore hosts the events at various locations on the east coast.
The Beefsteak Club that today has premises at 9 Irving Street, London, was established in 1876. When it was founded as a successor to the Sublime Society, its members hoped to rent the society’s dining room at the Lyceum.

Wilmore, who is called “Scarface” and sometimes just “Face,” created the fight club “Streetbeefs” in his Harrisonburg backyard in 2008. His goal at that time was to provide a safe place for people in his community to settle disputes.

The club was wound up in 1867, and its assets were auctioned at Christie’s, raising a little over £600. Thomas Sheridan founded a “Beefsteak Club” in Dublin at the Theatre Royal in 1749, and of this Peg Woffington was president.
